The Best Baby Shower Venues on the West Island of Montreal

I don’t know if it was just me, but planning my first baby shower was a bit of a rollercoaster.

Maybe it was FOMO, my attention to detail, or my self-diagnosed ADHD, lol! Don’t get me wrong, it was exciting! But it was also a tad overwhelming.

Because of my profession, I have the privilege of working with pregnant mommas, and often, I get asked for suggestions on where to host a baby shower.

So, I compiled a list of some awesome spots on the West Island of Montreal. The kind of place where you can kick back, enjoy the moment, and not stress too much.

From intimate to “throw the house out the window.” I cover all sizes and budgets.

In this post, I’ll share with you the six best places (in my opinion) for a baby shower on the West Island (and beyond)

I must add that I am not sponsored by or affiliated with these businesses.

For more photos or info, head over to their websites.

In no particular order, we’ll start with:

I had been to their boutique in the past, but I only found out about their Atelier just recently when I went to a holiday party of a local Facebook group called Mombod (I think I’ll write a separate post about that event; it was amazing!)

Back to the point, Sorella Atelier is like a blank canvas, a beautiful newly renovated space for your baby shower.

Nestled in the heart of the West Island, it provides a chic and intimate setting for your baby shower.

Catering must be booked with them, but you will not be disappointed, and! you’ll have one less thing to worry about. Wink wink!

It’s fully equipped for your event, with tables, chairs, linens, a full kitchen, coat rack, speakers, the whole enchilada! or should I say lasagna? … They are ready for you!

Located in Dorval, Restaurant Bellissimo offers a delightful Italian culinary experience and a welcoming space for your baby shower.

Not only is their menu amazing, but they can also customize it for private events, how great is that!?

They have a private hall upstairs, which can accommodate up to 80 guests and has its own entrance, bar, bathrooms, and coat check area.

On the main floor, you can host semi-private events in their dining area for up to 135 guests or in their beautiful courtyard with a semi-covered terrace for about 200 guests.

Studio Arc, is a creative space located in Beaconsfield that stands out as a versatile and contemporary space for your baby shower.

The installations are new, and the decor is customizable; you can move the furniture around like it’s your own home and match it to your event needs. Let your creativity take control!

They recently opened their Pointe-Claire location. This chic café is open for brunch, lunch and dinner.

From an intimate private room to a full restaurant buyout, they can adjust to your event size.

The capacity is quite large,  tables and chairs can be moved or removed to suit your needs.

For Baby Showers, the semi-private top floor is the most popular; that space has an upper atrium often used as a staging area for a guestbook, gift table, favours, etc.

You can decorate the space and even bring your own cake.

As for food, you can choose between doing canapes, stations, family style, or a sit-down meal.
