In this blog post, I'll share with you why 10 AM has become my go-to time for these intimate sessions that create that natural, organic and relaxed feel on your photographs.
Optimal Lighting
The right lighting is crucial in photography, and at 10 AM, you get the best natural light deal in town, sunlight starts pouring through your windows, giving your place a cozy, soft, flattering glow. This isn't just light; it's the secret sauce that amps up the organic and realness in every photo. It's like having a personal spotlight that brings out the genuine vibe in every shot, allowing us to document the essence of your family.
A Tranquil(ish) Start
I know mom life is crazy busy! I’d be lying to you if I said kids are perfect and on their best behaviour in the morning, because you and I know that that could be true today… but not tomorrow, lol! However, this time of the day is usually when newborns and kids are in their chill mode.
By scheduling sessions at 10 AM, we avoid the hustle and bustle of midday activities. I’ll adapt to your family’s dynamic, go with the flow, and enjoy the ride!
Minimal Disruptions
Whether it is a Newborn, Maternity or Family photo shoot, photographing you in the morning ensures that we minimize disruptions from external factors and it allows families to have a quiet, intimate experience without distractions.
With all that being said though! you know your home better! If you feel like you have better light at a different time of the day, please let me know, and I will make accommodations. Your comfort and the optimal lighting for your space are my top priorities.
